Tonight Chad whipped these up, (another Chad creation) and they were WONDERFUL! Easy ot make and something different. Instead of having to put so many toppings on the burgers, he put them in the burger.
Very flavorful!! Moist and delicious!! If they were not so big could of eaten a 2nd!!
The kids were saying UMMM UMM the entire time they ate it.
Yields: 4
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger meat
3/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
2 heaping teaspoons of garlic powder
4-5 chopped up scallions (less if you don’t like that much onions)
2 heaping teaspoons of Emrils Essence (Found also in your local grocer- we love this stuff!!)
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Pepper and Salt
Mix it all together – and make 4 large patties. Grill them till they are cooked to your desired done-ness. We prefer ours medium to medium rare. Just a tad bit of pink.
We also enjoy them on potato buns and then add your condiments. But not many are needed due to how flavorful they are.
The blue cheese is quite delightful in the meat. We used to just stuff them inside of 2 thin patties but it got to be too big of a hassle so now we just put it in the meat mixed up. JUICY!!!!
Enjoy!
