Nearly Free Paint Chip Easter Garland

Isn’t that Easter egg garland adorable?? I love paint chips. And when I saw this idea over here on this blog I wanted to make it too!!

Paint Chips are so pretty. I love to use them for so many things. The colors are so vibrant.

I cut egg shapes out of the paint chips, used my small hole puncher making 2 holes on the top.

I then threaded a thick needle I had with some green/white bakers twine.

Then I started to thread/add on each of the eggs that I cut out.   I pre traced all the eggs on the back of the swatches. I was able to get 4 eggs per paint chip.

Each paint chip has 4 colors on it usually. Just cut it in half so each egg is 2 colors and I got 2 eggs out of each 1/2.

The bakers twine worked really well keeping it from slipping and I could hang up the garland over my counter from my kitchen into my dining room. That is where everyone will be getting their Easter dinner food and I wanted to display it. It’s so PRETTY!!

Bright colors make me SO HAPPY!!!

Just one more photo…. and it nearly was free.. that’s the best kind of decorations!!

It’s an uber easy project to do with the kids. I traced out the eggs and had my kids cut them out.  The 2 holes at the top I hand punched I didn’t even care if they were perfectly straight because it helped give character to my eggs 🙂  If they were perfect– that would definitely not be me!
