Looked in my refrigerator and cabinet and found these items. (not pictured – powdered sugar)
Decided we wanted to try a dessert with these items. Everyone loves Nutella in our home, my husband loves raspberry and chocolate, and I love cream cheese and anything.
Everyone couldn’t decide the combination they wanted so we made 3 dessert pocket combinations.
1- nutella only
2- nutella and raspberry jam
3- nutella, raspberry jam and cream cheese
We loved all the combos but we all had favorites.
My Kids- well kids they loved them all
My Husband said his favorite was the nutella and raspberry jam. Mine was the all 3. (Like I said– I LOVE CREAM CHEESE)
They did not last very long in our home.
Here is how we made them.
Since our pack of crescent rolls were 6 LARGE, when I unrolled the triangles I patted it out to a square shape and cut in 1/2 so I can make 2 smaller pockets.
I then added our favorite fillings inside….
Nutella only pockets…..
Nutella & Raspberry jam pockets…..
Nutella, Raspberry jam & cream cheese pockets (what??? you don’t see the other 2 ingredients??) Yeah I know.. UGH I forgot to take a photo with the other ingredients… good job Mary Beth! 🙂 So use your imagination HAHAHA
Once you fold them over and pinch on 3 sides you have nice little pockets.
Bake them for at 350 degrees for 6-7 minutes till they are lightly golden brown.
Then we dusted them with powder sugar.. YUM!
YUM YUM!!! Nutella only pocket– very good!
Nutella and raspberry jam was my 2nd favorite!! (Chad’s 1st pick)
Here you go!! Cream Cheese, nutella and jam! HMMMMMmmmm… When it was warm it was best!
They were SOOOOOO SOOO GOOD!
We have since bought more crescent rolls to make more. This time around I bought the smaller size rolls where there are 12 in a pack so I don’t need to cut them in 1/2. But either way they work great!
Very fast dessert and yummy too. They would make great finger food desserts at a party! 🙂
