This summer my kidlets have enjoyed taking Wilton Cake Decorating Classes from Jo-Ann’s Crafts.
Their 1st class was on a round cake- butter cream. Making and learning how to do a cupcake on the top of their cakes and decorations. They had a wonderful time. And they were SOO PROUD!!
2nd class- my kidlets took was the fondant class. They REALLY Loved this class alot. I stayed behind and watched this class. I am very curious how to do fondant and I learned alot watching them ๐
Isn’t that the cutest cake ever??
I am so glad I signed up for these classes for them. They enjoyed making cakes and can’t wait to have them decorate more cakes for us ๐ Watching them cut out shapes and turning it into a cake– even THIS mom learned alot ๐
My son loved it so much. Even if he was the only boy in the class. I am glad he didn’t mind that. ๐ He did fabulous job!!!
More classes they will be taking from Jo-Ann’s throughout the summer ๐ Will keep them busy and learning lots of great skills ๐ Then they can help me out on projects at home ๐

I’m so glad your son had fun too! I that this generation of kids is so much less concerned with gender roles.
