A special little man who recently turned 8 decided to be Baptized. We wanted to give him a little gift to let him know that we love him and we are proud of his decision. 🙂 I always run to Pinterest for ideas. My GO-TO place. I came across this awesome website. She had the poem and lots of candy messages. I didn’t do all of them that she offered. (Because I couldn’t find them all at the store I went to) However we still had a FULL bag for our sweet little man.
My Baptism Sack
Here is a little brown sack
Filled with treats to unpack
To help remind you of your baptism day
And the covenants that you made.
So when you are faced with a choice that’s hard
Pull out a treat and read the card
It will help you just like the still small voice
To be sure that you make the right choice.
Always remember the Savior, Jesus Christ
And think of him throughout your life
Keep the commandments and you will see
The Lord will bless you through eternity.

We were told later- when the Baptism boy was asked what was his favorite part of the day was– his reply “Getting this bag of candy” HAHAH CUTE!!
