My daughter wanted a Minecraft party. We had a budget to try and do it for no more than 50.00 total. I think we did pretty well. Alot of stuff we either had on hand already or the Dollar Tree had most of what we ended up using.
These GEM stickers were wall stickers found in the Dollar Tree. And I made a sign for the door.
Creeperade was green tinted lemonade. It was a hot day and her friends played in a huge blow up pool and water guns etc. Simple but they were so thrilled.
Dollar Tree table cloth covers. Hung one on the wall with black construction paper taped on to make Creeper Face. More of the wall gem stickers on the table.
We owned all these Minecraft toys because both my kids love it!
Dollar Tree buckets, we made shirts, and other fun items for the inside. Will share further in the post. Lots of black vinyl cut on my Silhouette!! EASY!!
Clear boxes filled with twizzlers and I made my own stickers to go on the TNT boxes.
Cupcakes – Creeper and Enderman
Candy and various items I had on hand, or found at Dollar Tree or I separated colors of Skittles. I made all the tented name tag cards. Green Creeper containers were from Dollar Tree and I added vinyl to the front.
Here is what was in the goodie “bag” buckets.
Dollar Tree buckets decorated with black vinyl.
School back in session lots of cool composition books and found some in green. Kids always need journals/books to doodle in style with.
I have a button/pin maker. Decided to make the kids pins with a graphic I found in google images.
I always have pipettes and gumballs of all colors. Made up these gumballs and also found this Minecraft image in Google Images as well and made tags for the gumballs.
Had these glow/light sticks from years ago I bought bunch off Ebay. I keep using them for all sorts of things. Added /made a tag for one
Dollar Tree has 4 cups for 1.00 and made each person a cup.
Last but not least. Shirts– which were a huge hit. Iron-on Vinyl
All the party kids enjoying their shirts 🙂
Black Cups turned into Enderman Faces. Simple added purple vinyl eyes that I cut out and stuck on.
Here are the Wall Gem sheets found at Dollar Tree.
These are the cupcake picks and the cupcake wrappers. I created them all in photoshop then printed and cut out with my Silhouette machine.
All the different tented cards I created for the various foods on the tables. Some I was told was a “MOD” in minecraft. Whatever that is. I just made up what I found in google. It was my friend finding photos of these items. Because I don’t really understand the game. I just acted like I did.
Closeups of the TNT boxes. Again graphics made in Photoshop printed and cut out with my silhouette machine.
Dad put on our Minecraft head and goofed around at the party.
All the silly party kids. Came in from playing in the pool outside. We served pizza rolls (I am a couponer and had them stocked up in my freezer) Along with creeperade and all the yummy candy/treats from the table for lunch. They also made up baggies to go home with whatever was left on the table for their goodie bags. We like to really treat our friends with nice goodie bags. One of my favorite things to do. 🙂
She had a great party. I am proud how it turned out!! Happy 10th Birthday Baby Girl!! Our newest DOUBLE DIGIT KIDLET!
Congratulations first to the Birthday Girl! and then to you for doing ALL THAT for under $50. You’re definitely a good shopper and you personalized everything so nicely. I’ve got to look into that Silhouette. My gracious – all the things you were able to do with it. But…..it was YOUR creativity that pulled it all together.
I’m sure the kids loved that dip in the pool (I’m in Fla. too and it’s hot-hot-hot) and then your making the Minecraft t-shirts and all the other goodies which they can use at home. Looked like a super party!
You are a savvy shopper. I can’t believe you only spent $50? Maybe because you already had stuff on hand, but if I tried to pull that off, it would have cost a lot more. Your invitations were super cute too. Happy Birthday, Brooke!!
My son would go nuts for a party like this. All the kids his age are obsessed with this game. Everything looks great. You must have spent a ton of time putting it all together. I can’t believe you only spent $50 for it all!
Are you willing to sell the printed vinyl and such that you created??
